Vegan leather – myth to be debunked

Good morning dear friends from Julia and the Julia Art Staff, today we are talking about something that does not exist and that is “vegan leather or vegetable leather” which is a product that has nothing to do with leather. To create this product, PU Polyurethane or PVC Polyvinyl Chloride are mainly used, in some cases nylon or rayon is also used. I believe that the names of the chemical elements that I have listed speak for themselves and I don’t need to tell you what quality of skin you get. In truth, there are some companies that produce materials derived from fruit peel, wine processing waste, leaves and bark, but none of these materials can be called leather. I remind you that the type of natural leather used by Julia Art is: Breathable, water-repellent, soft, resistant, warm and with time it improves its characteristics and becomes more beautiful. Furthermore, the leather we use comes from the breeding of animals for food use and is treated with eco-sustainable vegetable tanning.
